How to judge a wholesale plus dress line
- Is it graded for plus or just sized up? A true plus pattern adjusts bust, arm and hip. Ask the brand, and check reviews from other retailers on the listing.
- Size run and prepacks. A 1X-2X-3X prepack is different from sizes sold one at a time. Know which your customer needs most.
- Stretch and lining. Stretch and a full lining cut down on returns.
- Sleeves and coverage. Many plus shoppers ask for sleeves and a bra-friendly neckline.
- Price against your customer. Compare the suggested retail on the listing with what she spends.
- Reorder options. A best-selling dress you can restock is worth more than one-off prints.
